easy diy : jewelry storage

I'm a victim of my obsession with earrings. My jewelry boxes were full-to-bursting before I came up with a great jewelry storage system for the foyer. Using a hammer, 1" nails, and some hemp twine, I put together a functional storage solution for my costume jewels.

There are 6 rows in total. I attached the twine to parallel nails then wound it around the end nail then trailed down; making sure to wrap the twine around the nails several times to secure it. T'was an ad hoc solution, so I didn't even think to photograph the actual solution. Here are pics!
