what's on the beach vacation checklist?

We're headed to the Caribbean in a few weeks and I like to travel light; usually bring only a half-filled shoulder bag--while still taking all of the the essentials. Of course, I include a straw hat and the phone/camera charger, and closed-toed shoes.  Below are items that must, must, must be in the luggage to ensure I have a successful trip away:
