Porch Sittin' on a Sunday

As the indoor work continues, I'm feeling antsy to spend more time at the homestead. So, I took the liberty of coming by on Sunday to read a book on the porch. I got only two pages into the book and grew distracted by the sounds of cicadas and morning doves.

Instead of reading, I spent 40 minutes listening to the bugs and birds before I headed inside to check out the work.

My next weekend house project will be to make us an attractive sign that displays our house number. As you can see the dollar store paper decal is not exactly floating any boats.
