New Orleans 2025: day 1 notes

Wow, I'm finally on holiday after 5.5 grueling weeks of staring at a computer Monday through Friday for 8 solid hours each. It was unpleasant and frankly brutal for me.

So here we are getting I to flight # 2 from Charlotte NC to New Orleans LA. I cannot get why people are so engaged with their phones. The thought of stating at another screen and scrolling for more time makes me cringe.

Ha! I'll undoubtedly change my tune come Saturday, when my lads play Solihull Moors at home (and they need a win!!).

Our Charlotte to NOLA lunchbreak was to get an extortionate expensive white bread sandwich and a cocktail at an airport bar.
