I just went for a bike ride wearing my new Keen Women's Summer Golden Sandal (SGS). They really hurt my feet. As the upper is just way too hard for me to wear for an extended period, manually breaking these in is NOT an option.When I got home, I tossed them in the washing machine to break in the fabric. They're out now and drying on a bookshelf. The upper definitely gives a lot more...thank gawd!
I still score the SGS as a 2/5 stars for the versatile style and their adorable good looks. Wearing these on a 4 mile walk left my feet hurting all over. Alas, it's too late to return them online... Off to the thrift store we go.
