After meeting Romesh Ranganathan earlier inthe week, I was happy not to see another celeb during this trip. But then we took a stroll through Convent Garden on a sunny Saturday.
After telling my traveling companions to keep track of their wallets and phones, we waded in. The Saturday crowds are tremendous, and every synapse was buzzing. The music, the people, the buskers, the performers, the shops, the food, the everything. I needed a break, and sidle over to the stalls. There stood Mark Moody. contemplating buying a felted wool sweater, right in my path. I should have said something, but I was still internally embarrassed from my inane chuntering when I met Romesh earlier. I covertly snapped a couple pics and sidled away. Passing him later, I gave him a beaming smile (from behind my face mask).
