Post-Modern Military-Style Jackets

A must have for winter is the military jacket! Here in the north-east states, temps are just warm enough this winter that I can get away with a light jacket over a long-sleeve shirt. I feel just like Adam Ant in mine! The shape of today's military jackets is sleek, structured, and flattering to most body types. Well- endowed women may have difficulty finding a fitted and flattering one, however.

I found this H&M jacket at my local Village thrift for about 7 bucks, brand new. The original price tag showed the in-store price at $28. It's a short body --cuts off at the navel--jacket with extra long sleeves. It looks gorgeous on my friend, graphic designer, Simone J.
