Garden Envy: Visiting my Folks

Hubby and I took a post-Mother's Day trip out to the 'burbs to catch up with my parents and enjoy my mother's (we call her Ma) famous brunch fritatas.

On the way we stopped at the local garden center and picked up a few dozen new plants for our own home garden (and the orchard across the street). In strolling through the beds of flowers and food I got a little green-eyed. Their place is absolutely gorgeous. After spending the morning we drove back home and got to work on our little plot of land.

In addition to their vegetable garden beds, mom and dad also chose a beautiful selection of trees and flowers.
